Thank you Mandy. I am enjoying my Bhutanese green tea. Each time I look at my fridge magnet of the Tiger’s Nest Monastery I think of the pilgrimage to it. Looking back it was a wonderful experience. I hear of others who fly into Paro, do the half country round trip, take a horse/mule up to the teahouse and then walk and think they have achieved. I have an interesting comment in reply!
All good with me, in isolation in Palm Nth. but good computer network chats and friends, plus lots of gardening, my garden will never be so good again!
So many thanks for your kind thoughts. The thought of Georgia and Abzerbaijan is keeping me sane at the moment.
Best wishes to both you and Richard,
Many thanks for your message and it is lovely to know that you are thinking of us all and yes, we are all in this together and I am sure if we all do what we are told we will come out the other side safe and sound and have learnt a lot from this very stressful situation. This month will be a good opportunity to give a lot of thought to planning the next trip!
Take care, keep well and keep smiling.
Hi Mandy, All the very best to you and all the team. We look forward one day to travelling with you again. Hoping we all weather the storm. Stay safe.

What a difficult time for you and your staff – it’s a hard time to be in the travel business.
And what a great idea to get out our holiday photos and reminisce – we did the wonderful Camino trip with Stu last year – still have a number of pics not named … so plenty to do over the next few weeks of isolation!
Many thanks and keep safe
Thankyou for your thoughts which are much appreciated and reciprocated. We are in uncertain times.
We have very fond memories of our time with you and described it many times to our friends. We hope you are back on the road soon.

Thankyou Mandy for your mail and I wish the little fern was dripping on our garden here in the driest of Marlborough Autumns. The grape growers are thrilled it is so dry with very cool nights which is perfect for developing the best flavours. Interested to read that Zagreb has an earthquake recently, poor things we know what that feels like but nevertheless sad to see old and unstable buildings topple to the forces of nature. Early in 2000 I travelled through the city of Bam in southern Iran after their 6.6 earthquake which was completely devastating for their mostly mud brick dwellings mosques and the palace. Hopefully Zagreb fared a little better and that the casualty rate was significantly less I heard.
With kind regards
Thanks for the update. I hope you, your family and all the lovely folks at Tours Direct stay safe and well too. Hope to see you once again sometime in the future when the world becomes a healthy place to travel in.
All the best
Thank you for your email. Most caring and unexpected. I do feel to be part of the TDirect Family..
All good Re getting home and thankfully we decided to come back 4 days earlier.
Such a lot happened in those two weeks since leaving home.
Until another time, as I hope will be,
