Sri Lanka is a remarkable combination of tropical beauty, dazzling beaches, archaeological splendours, superb cuisine and best of all, extremely welcoming people.
Our tour will take us to many of the country’s top attractions. We’ll be starting among the World Heritage listed archaeological treasures known as the Ancient Cities. These ruins, some of them thousands of years old, include cave temples, palaces and the Sigiriya rock fortress.
We’ll be staying in Sri Lanka’s hill country in Kandy, a bustling town set beside an artificial lake and surrounded by tropical forest.
We’ll take one of the great little train rides of the world through the hill country’s tea plantations to Nuwara Eliya.
Our tour ends with a visit to the World Heritage fort town of Galle and an idyllic stay at one of Sri Lanka’s beautiful beaches.

Sian Sherriff comes to us with extensive travel knowledge and group experience. Beginning her personal travel at 18 she has explored six continents and still has places she would like to go to. Working in the travel industry for 25 years means she knows the ins and outs of airlines and destinations.
