Discover the enchanting landscapes, vibrant cities and hidden gems of Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland.
Begin in Tallinn, Estonia’s charming capital, with its narrow winding streets, red-roofed buildings, and enchanting churches. Travel to Latvia to explore Riga, 2014 European Capital of Culture, with its lovely, cobbled centre and turn-of-the-century architecture. Travelling via the coastal town of Klaipeda and the UNESCO-listed Curonian Spit, arrive in Kaunas, Lithuania. Then onto Lithuania’s capital, Vilnius, the largest baroque city north of the Alps.
In Poland go to Warsaw, the capital, and the former royal city of Krakow, with its medieval town square. Visit four Polish UNESCO sites – Warsaw’s Old Town, Krakow’s Historic Centre, the Auschwitz-Birkenau camp and the Wieliczka Salt Mine.
