Galapagos: Nature’s Living Museum
13 Extraordinary Days: Tue 19 – Sun 31 May, 2026
Escorted from New Zealand by Jenni Shallard
Confirmed Departure
Each stop on our expedition cruise in the southwestern Galapagos unveils a distinct facet of the vibrant ecosystem, transforming this journey into a thorough and breathtaking exploration of one of the planet’s most extraordinary and ever-changing natural settings.
You will have the opportunity to admire the stunning wildlife of the Galapagos Islands from the comfort of the La Pinta expedition vessel. Fully equipped, this small ship has been designed to let you explore the islands from land and sea.
Among the many creatures you will see are giant tortoises, flightless cormorants, Galapagos penguins, Galapagos sea lions, marine iguanas, and Nazca boobies.
On land there is the giant tortoise breeding center at the Charles Darwin Research Station, Santa Cruz Island – the hub for scientific research, conservation efforts, and National Park management in the Galapagos Islands.
Special highlights include a glass-bottom boat tour around Champion Islet – an extinct volcano recognized as one of the premier snorkelling locations in the Galapagos Islands, and swimming with turtles in the water around these remote islands.
